Leumas Time as a desktop app

The same clocks in their own window with their own icon in the taskbar — a timer you can leave running without a browser tab to lose. The installer is free and the tools are identical.

What the app is

The app is this site opened in its own window. It reads the same release feed this page reads and installs the next version when you quit, so once it is installed there is nothing to come back here for.

Why it is not signed yet

Windows SmartScreen warns about any installer without a code-signing certificate, and this one does not carry one yet. The warning is about the certificate, not the file: choose More info, then Run anyway, and it installs without administrator rights.

Questions

Do the timers keep running if I switch tabs?

Yes. The countdown is measured against a monotonic clock rather than counted in ticks, so a backgrounded tab, a throttled timer or a laptop lid closing does not lose time — when you come back it shows what it should, not what it managed to count.

Can I use this offline?

The tools themselves are arithmetic in your browser, so once the page has loaded the timer, stopwatch and converter keep working without a connection. Anything that syncs obviously does not.
