Free, and what a membership adds

The timers, clocks, converters and calendar views are free, unlimited and need no account. One thing on this site genuinely costs us money to run, and that is the only thing behind a membership.

What the money buys

Keeping your work. Sign in with a Leumas membership and a timer saves to your account, up to fifty of them, readable from any browser you sign in on. An alert that reaches you with this tab closed, and calendar subscription both ways, are specified but not built — the pricing table below marks those rows as coming rather than listing them as included. When they land they will need a scheduler slot on a server we run, which is a real recurring cost in a way that arithmetic in your browser is not.

What stays free, permanently

Every countdown, every stopwatch, every world clock, every conversion and every calendar view, with no account and no cap. Charging for those would be charging for the step before the one worth paying for, and it would also be charging for something that costs us a page load.

Questions

Do I need an account?

No. Every timer, stopwatch, clock, converter and calendar view here works signed out, with no email and no limit. An account exists for three things only: keeping your saved timers across devices, an alert that reaches you with this tab closed, and subscribing to a calendar.

Will an alarm go off if I close the tab?

Not on its own — a closed tab runs no code, and any site claiming otherwise is relying on a notification permission you granted earlier. An alert that reaches you with everything closed is scheduled on our servers, and that is the one thing here a membership pays for.
